Final Term Terminal Emulator is a free terminal emulator which is still in development but worth to talk about. This terminal mains aim is to produce a 21st century terminal emulator that will have powerful user interface and features.

Thanks to the work of Bob Mottram (packaging) and GitHub user versable (PPA setup), Ubuntu is currently the easiest platform to install Final Term on:
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:finalterm/daily
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install finalterm
